We are excited to share with you that PROPHET project actively took part in several European events focusing on personalised prevention where partners have been showcasing the project.
One of the events we participated in was Medicine: Innovations and Challenges 2023 Conference (MEDIC 2023), which took place online on 29 November 2023. This event provided us an opportunity to showcase some PROPHET results and exchange/ discuss with researchers at international level.
The project also attended the European Public Health Conference in November 2023, This event gave the opportunity to engage with expert stakeholders in personalised prevention.
Some events were also organised by the consortium, such as the PROPHET stakeholder session which took place in Valencia 3 October 2023 and was followed by the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU event on 4 and 5 October 2023, focusing on personalised medicine in the evolution of healthcare to improve people’s lives. Both allowed the PROPHET team to engage with stakeholders such as policy makers, researchers, academics, and healthcare experts.
Furthermore, PROPHET was featured at the Seminar Centro Nacional Epidemiologia on 14 December 2023 where some outcomes carried out by partners were presented.
Last but not least, PROPHET was also introduced and presented at the World Congress on Public Health and the National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene and Preventive Medecine in May 2023, the 1st International Annual Workshop for the search of Synergies of the Partnership ERA4Health in June 2023, the Personalized CANcer Primary Prevention research through Citizen Participation and digitally enabled social innovation in May 2023, the CAN.HEAL, Building the EU cancer and public health genomics platform in April 2023, the workshop on Personalized Prevention – Developing a roadmap for sustainable health systems in Europe in June 2023 and during an event at the “Jefferson College of Population Health” in February 2024.
