PROPHET at the World Congress on Public Health and the National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine
PROPHET at the World Congress on Public Health and the National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine On the occasion of the World Congress on Public Health, and the National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, jointly held in Rome on May 2nd – 6th 2023, preliminary results from the mapping activity of PROPHET were presented.
The events brought together more than 3,000 public health professionals, policy-makers and researchers from all around the world in Rome. Dr. Sara Farina and Professor Stefania Boccia, from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), presented the PROPHET project to a large scientific audience and summarised the preliminary results regarding the mapping activity conducted so far. The widely participated discussion focused on the gaps and bottlenecks related to the implementation of personalised prevention approaches. One of the key elements within the overall PROPHET project.

On the occasion of the 1st International Annual Workshop for the search of Synergies of the Partnership ERA4Health, PROPHET project was presented.
Presentation of PROPHET at 4P-CAN
The PROPHET project was presented at the kick-off meeting of the Personalized CANcer Primary Prevention research through Citizen Participation and digitally enabled social innovation (4P-CAN) project. This is a Horizon Europe project, and the kick-off took place during 15-16 May 2023 in Bucharest
Presentation of PROPHET at CAN.HEAL
PROPHET has been presented at the Stakeholder meeting of the project “CAN.HEAL, Building the EU cancer and public health genomics platform.” The initiative brings together two specific strands of current EU health planning: ‘Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment for All’, and ‘Genomics for Public Health’, and aims at creating a continuum of prevention, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment in the field of Cancer.

PROPHET participation to a High-level conference on Life Sciences, The Era of Personalised Medicine
The conference took place on 26-27 June 2023 at Karolinska Institute Aula medica in Stockholm, organised in the framework of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. At this occasion PROPHET has been presented by Professor Stefan Swartling Peterson, from Karolinska Institute.
