In January 2025 AmsterdamUMC/VUMC together with PROPHET partners will organise an expert meeting on Pharmacogenomics as a relevant case for implementing personalised prevention. The PROPHET project has developed an encompassing assessment framework highlighting elements to be considered for implementation, ranging from evidence and cost-effectiveness to acceptability and impact. The workshop brings together stakeholders such as clinicians, pharmacists, researchers and policymakers. The aim of the workshop is to discuss with stakeholders their needs and challenges for integrating pharmacogenomics into health systems, guided by the PROPHET framework, so policymakers are better equipped to design evidence-based policies in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
