PROPHET Stakeholder Session in Stockholm

On October 1 2024, PROPHET hosted first workshop with stakeholders using the “World Café” format, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders to address the nine challenges highlighted in the draft SRIA.

The SRIA identified nine major challenges, along with specific objectives and concrete actions to address them, including assigned responsibilities, timelines, output indicators, and the necessary financial resources. Among the challenges are the creation of a continuous evidence synthesis system, data collection and integration, and the development of appropriate infrastructures. Community engagement and trust-building are crucial, as is the involvement of healthcare professionals and policymakers. The document also emphasises regulatory aspects, collaboration with the private sector, and the need to ensure equity and access while addressing ethical, legal, and social issues.

Participants were divided into five onsite groups and one online group (see below), ensuring a rich diversity of affiliations and backgrounds in each discussion.

The workshop included 5 stations, each dedicated to a specific topic related to the draft SRIA. As participants moved from one station to the next, they engaged in meaningful discussions led by expert moderators. Dedicated notetakers captured the essential content of each exchange, ensuring that all ideas were reported.
