UCSC team attended the “Genomics and Prevention in Healthcare” conference on 9 February 2024, at Villa Quartara, Genova (Italy) which provided an in-depth look at the transformative role of genomics in healthcare.
The convergence of technologies enabling R&I for the healthcare of the future
The event took place in Brussels on 28 and 29 May 2024. It featured compelling discussions on cutting-edge technologies and offered valuable insights into their potential. The PROPHET project was also highlighted during the event, underlying the importance of preventative methods within the healthcare sector.

Italian Society of Hygiene annual conference (SItI)
The 57th Italian Society of Hygiene annual conference 2024 (SItI) took place in Palermo (Italy), from October 23 to October 26, 2024. The theme of this year’s Congress was: “Public Health for the Future of the Country: Innovation, Alliances, and Institutional Synergies for Prevention.” The UCSC research team shared the advancements of the project with a panel of Italian experts in public health, genomics, and personalised medicine.
