It was a great success!
PROPHET team, together with THCS, organised a webinar on “Fostering synergies for effective prevention strategies in health and care systems” and taking place on 5 May 2025.
The webinar brought together more than 150+ participants from all over the world. Participants included researchers, policy makers, health professionals among others.
During the webinar, a number of presentations were made: after an introduction by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), 2 EU-funded projects/ initiatives – PROPHET, THCS – and two joint actions funded by the EU4Health program – namely JAPreventNCD and JANE2 – were introduced.
Discussions focused on how to effectively implement prevention strategies emphasizing the importance of investment and collaborative efforts among researchers, policy makers, health professionals and stakeholders, to maximise the impact of prevention research and ensure sustainable outcomes.
