What is Personalised Prevention
In this Section we highlight what Personalised Prevention is and how it could help prevent chronic diseases diseases in a timely, effective and equitable way. Prevention often addresses environment and behaviour, however, personalized approaches may include targeted interventions that also consider biological information, such as genetics and other biomarkers, demographics, and health conditions. Making personalised prevention accessible to all means that citizens and patients need to be well-informed, supported, and able to take active steps for their own health management.
